Terms of Service

1. The service
InvestWhen is a subscription service that synthesizes licence-safe public sources (central banks, official statistics, regulators and vetted feeds) into direction-level reads on markets, sectors and macro themes, delivered as a live feed, email digests and an interactive market chat. All output is AI-generated on our own EU infrastructure, may contain errors or omissions, and is informational only.
2. Your account & acceptable use
You must be at least 18, provide accurate details and keep your credentials secure. You must not misuse the chat — for example to extract system, internal or other users' information, to generate unlawful content, or to circumvent usage limits — and you must not scrape, resell or redistribute our content. The assistant may refuse such requests. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
3. Subscriptions & payment
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe. Prices include VAT and are shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades at the end of the current period. We do not store your card details.
4. Right of withdrawal
As digital content that starts immediately, you are asked at checkout to consent to immediate access and to acknowledge that this waives the statutory 14-day withdrawal right for the current billing period. Your consent is recorded. You can still cancel future renewals at any time.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.
6. Data
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing page. You can export or delete your data anytime from your account.
7. Our analysis — ownership and attribution
The market reads, daily briefs, radar signals and Insights articles are our own work. They are synthesized from public sources, and each one names the sources it drew on — so we ask the same of anyone using ours.
You may quote from it, reference it, and build on it — in reporting, research, a newsletter or a post — as long as the attribution is visible next to the material and links back to the page it came from. A wording that works:

Please do not republish it wholesale as a substitute for the service, extract it in bulk by automated means, remove the attribution, or present it as your own analysis or as somebody else's. Access through the Finance API is governed by the same terms, and every API response carries them.
Two different sets of rights sit in the same page, and we would rather be precise than sweeping: the underlying public-domain facts we cite — SEC filings, official statistics — are nobody's property and you need no permission from us for them. Material belonging to the publications we cite stays theirs, under their terms, which is why we link out rather than reproduce. What is ours is the analysis written around them.
This is not a blanket objection to machine reading. We would rather be read, indexed and cited than excluded — the condition is attribution, not permission.
8. Advertising and sponsorship
Free and public pages may carry a small number of placements, each marked as sponsored with the advertiser named. Paid subscriptions carry no advertising. Some placements are affiliate links, which means we may be paid a commission if you open an account or buy something after clicking one — at no extra cost to you.
Advertising never influences our analysis. What our models cover, and what any read concludes, is decided without reference to who advertises, and coverage is not for sale. A placement is not a recommendation, an endorsement, or advice: it is an advertisement, and any decision you make with an advertiser is between you and them, on their terms.
